Militants agree to leave territories north-east of Damascus – Syrian state media

An agreement to evacuate “terrorists” from al-Rheibeh, Jairoud (Jayrud) and al-Nasseriyeh (Nasiriyah) in eastern Qalamoun region around 50 kilometers to the northeast of the Syrian capital has been reached, SANA reported on Saturday, citing its correspondent on the ground. The militants are to abandon their heavy and medium weapons and ammunition depots before being transported to areas close to the border with Turkey. The withdrawal comes one day after Syrian government forces regained control over al-Dmair in Qalamoun region.
