4.9-magnitude earthquake strikes 300km off Chichi-shima, Japan
A 4.9-magnitude earthquake was reportedly registered at 11:00 GMT on Monday 298km north of Chichi-shima, Japan. The quake was 10km in depth. There were no immediate reports of damage. On March 4, the US Geological Survey reported a 4.8-magnitude quake 295km north of Japan’s Chichi-shima, with a depth of 30.3km.
