Chinese officials propose scrapping two-term limit for president
The Central Committee of China has proposed removing the constitutional limit of two consecutive terms for the offices of president and vice president in the country, Xinhua news agency reports. It also suggested making a program statement on China’s development authored by President Xi Jinping part of the constitution.
