Nine people killed in attack on Indian army base

Nine people, including five soldiers and one civilian, have been killed in a militant attack on an army camp in northern Jammu and Kashmir state. Militants stormed the camp on Saturday and an unknown number remain cornered inside the camp’s residential complex police said. Three militants belonging to the Pakistan based Jaish-e-Mohammad separatist group were also killed.
