6.1-magnitude earthquake hits N. Afghanistan – USGS
A magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck in northern Afghanistan, Reuters reported. The quake was registered 66km south-southeast of the city of Faizabad on Wednesday, according to the US Geological Survey. There are no immediate reports of damage.
