200,000 households left without power in northern France due to heavy storm
Around 200,000 homes in northern France have lost power due to winter storm Eleanor, according to Enedis, the French power-grid company. The Normandy region was the worst hit by the storm, the company said, adding that Paris and northeastern Picardie and Champagne-Ardenne were also among those badly affected.
