4.6-magnitude earthquake hits Athens & central Greece
A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck Athens and central Greece early on Sunday, witnesses said, according to Reuters. The tremblor was recorded west of Athens in the Corinthian Gulf at an assessed depth of five kilometers, the National Observatory of Athens said. The US Geological Survey (USGS) said the epicenter was 79 kilometers west-north-west of Athens.
