Foreigners among 20 suspected ISIS members arrested in Turkey – police
At least 20 people, including 15 foreigners, were arrested in Istanbul over suspected links to Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS), police said, as cited by Anadolu news agency. The officers raided at least four addresses in the city after a tip about the suspects, claiming that they had ties with IS leaders in Syria and Iraq. The suspects were reportedly planning attacks during New Year’s Eve celebrations in Istanbul.
