Russia ‘working on defensive measures’ to counter possible new sanctions

Russia is working out measures to protect its interests amid possible extension of restrictive actions by various countries, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday. “Moscow is developing and assuming measures protecting our interests amid possible extension of sanctions by various countries, which we still consider to be unlawful,” he said. However, he said “it would probably not be right now to make public or disclose all these measures” aimed at countering possible sanctions.
