4 killed, 11 injured as light plane crashes in Siberia
The death toll from a plane crash at the airport of the city of Naryan-Mar, in Russia’s Nenets Region, has risen to four, TASS reported Tuesday, citing the regional branch of the Russian Investigative Committee. There were 13 people on board, and others suffered injuries, according to investigators. Sources in the district hospital, where 11 people have been admitted, say that those injured were in serious condition. The plane, an Antonov An-2, was reported to have skidded off a runway during takeoff.
