Gunmen occupy building near intelligence training center in Kabul

An attack was underway on Monday morning in western Kabul, where gunmen occupied a partially constructed building near an intelligence training center. The attackers were battling Afghan security forces, according to Nasrat Rahimi, deputy spokesman for the Interior Ministry. Reinforcements were dispatched to the area. An Afghan official said earlier that a Taliban attack on Sunday had killed a police officer and wounded three others in western Badghis province, AP reported.
