Rubio now 'yes' on tax cuts after GOP raises child credit

Senator Marco Rubio (R-Florida) said he would vote in favor of the final tax bill next week, after Republican lawmakers agreed to raise the child tax credit to $1,400. Rubio's support increases the likelihood of the tax reform proposal championed by President Donald Trump clearing the hurdle in the Senate, where the GOP has a razor-thin majority. The final vote on the tax bill is expected next week, before Congress goes on recess for the holidays.
