Final death toll in Somalia’s bloodiest bombing stands at 512
The final death toll from the October 14 terrorist attack in the Somali capital Mogadishu is 512, a committee investigating the incident reported as cited by AP. The figure is a dramatic increase on the previous estimates of more than 350 people killed. 312 people were injured in the truck bombing while 62 remain missing. The attack, which was claimed by the terrorist group Al-Shabab, was the bloodiest in Somalia’s modern history.
