Over 70 flights detained at Moscow airports due to snowfall

More than 70 flights were detained at Moscow airports on Friday due to snowfall, according to the Yandex schedule service. Most of the flights, 52, were detained at Sheremetyevo Airport as of 14:30 GMT. At Domodedovo Airport, 12 flights were unable to take off, and at Vnukovo – eight flights. One flight was canceled at Domodedovo airport, two more were canceled at Vnukovo airport. The Meteorological center announced a “yellow” level of danger in Moscow on Friday due to snow and wind.
