Beijing expresses ‘grave concern’ over N. Korean missile test

China expressed “grave concern” on Wednesday after North Korea fired what appears to have been an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) that landed close to Japan. Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang told reporters that China hopes all parties act “cautiously to preserve peace and stability,” Reuters reports.
