Britain to set aside extra £3bn for Brexit in budget
Britain will put aside another £3 billion ($4 billion) for preparations toward the impending exit from the European Union, Finance Minister Philip Hammond revealed Wednesday in his budget. “We have already invested almost £700 million in Brexit preparations – and today I am setting aside over the next two years another £3 billion and I stand ready to allocate further sums if and when needed,” AFP quoted Hammond as telling MPs.
