6.5 magnitude earthquake strikes off Costa Rica

A 6.5 magnitude earth quake has struck off the coast of Costa Rica near the capital, San Jose, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said. The quake, initially measured at 6.8 magnitude, was centered 71 kilometers southwest of San Jose at a depth of 10 km, according to preliminary estimates.
