Mi-17 army helicopter crashes in eastern Iraq, 7 crew members killed
An Iraqi Army helicopter crashed during a training flight, killing two pilots and five army officers aboard, Reuters reported citing a military statement and air force officers. The aircraft crashed due to a technical malfunction, the statement added. The Russian-made Mi-17 went down Sunday near the town of Kut in the province of Wasit, according to Al Sumaria.
