6.3-magnitude earthquake hits northern Chile - USGS
An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 hit northern Chile early on Tuesday, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS). The quake was recorded 73km east of the city of Arica. The depth was 82km. No tsunami warning was in effect, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, Reuters reported.
