Woman ignored as she died on U.S. hospital floor
New York's city health authority has been forced to explain how a 49-year old psychiatric patient died on the floor of one of its hospital waiting rooms.
The surveillance footage shows the woman in distress while hospital staff, guards and patients are nearby.
It is claimed it took an hour for medical staff to come to the aid of Esmin Green.
It is also being reported that a lawsuit is alleging that the hospital falsified patients records.
