Terrorists plotting to use weapons of mass destruction: Russian Security Service

Head of the Russian Federal Security Service, Nikolay Patrushev, says there is evidence terrorists are still plotting to use weapons of mass destruction. To prevent terrorism a group is set up to counter the ideology behind many attacks.

Mr Patrushev made his statement at the 8th National Anti-Terrorism Commission meeting in Moscow. He said the Committee is receiving information from Russian and foreign sources.

The Head of the Federal Security Service called on the group to assess anti-terror security measures for key facilities in Russia.
