Ships collide near Bosphorus
A Turkish ship has collided with a Russian vessel while entering the Bosphorus – the narrows between the Mediterranean and Black Sea. The Turkish ship's main engine failed as it approached the other vessel.
The accident damaged the Russian ship's superstructure and one of its hatches. The Istanbul port authorities have detained both ships for an investigation.
