Slave to love: In a relationship with sex robot

Slave to love: In a relationship with sex robot

Sex robots replacing wives and girlfriends: a new trend is gaining popularity in the United States and other hi-tech countries. Experts believe that in a few decades, romances between robots and humans will be nothing out of the ordinary.

American innovator Douglas Hines is proud of his creation – a doll with human-like qualities, his robot Roxxxy can talk and even senses touch.

The artificial intelligence engineer believes he has created the perfect mate for those who, for a variety of reasons, cannot or are too lazy or too busy to connect with human beings. And for the more technologically-minded male, a robot might prove easier to turn on than a real life girlfriend.

But is a robot worth broken marriages and hearts?
