Russian Foreign Ministry’s press-conference
Foreign Ministry officials briefed the world’s media on Monday in a bid to explain Russia’s position on the conflict. Spokesman Boris Malakhov said Russia was obliged to protect its peacekeepers and citizens in South Ossetia.
