Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov discusses Baltic co-operation

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has been attending the 14th ministerial session of the Council of the Baltic States in Sweden. Preserving Baltic natural resources, security, and investment are among the topics at the meeting.

Sergey Lavrov has been eager to calm concerns of neighbouring countries over the environmental impact of the Baltic Sea gas pipeline which is due to transport Russian natural gas to European markets by the end of the decade.
