Russian elections: The fight for the regions

Russia's presidential campaign is into its home stretch, with just a few days to go before Sunday’s ballot. To have a chance at the top job, candidates will have to win over voters in Russia’s regions.

With election fever hitting its peak, RT’s team went to two regions in Central Russia to get a feel for the mood of the electorate. Though they lie side by side, the Republic of Mordovia and Ryazan Region are miles apart when it comes to economic, and hence social, development.
