Non-Aligned envoys visit Iranian nuclear site

Non-Aligned envoys visit Iranian nuclear site

Iran's top nuclear negotiator has said inspectors from the UN's nuclear watchdog would be allowed to examine the country's atomic facilities under the non-proliferation treaty.

Meanwhile, envoys from the Non-Aligned Movement of developing nations, the Group of 77 and the Arab League, are on a two-day visit to Iran.

Diplomats accredited by the IAEA visited a nuclear facility near the central Iranian city of Isfahan. It's part of efforts by Tehran to show transparency over its controversial nuclear programme.

The group is also expected to hold talks with Iranian Foreign Minister, Manouchehr Mottaki, and the head of the country’s Atomic Energy Organisation.
