2 militants killed in Dagestan
Two militants have been killed during a special operation in Russia's southern Republic of Dagestan. It was carried out by the regional security services of the Interior Ministry department in the town of Kaspiysk.
Police attempted to detain the suspects but the gunmen resisted.The shootout took place near the center of the town, but no other casualties have been reported.Earlier two people, a 60-year-old man and a boy, have been killed in the southern Russian Republic of Dagestan, when police tried to stop a suspect escaping from a police station.The incident took place in the town of Khasavyurt.
