Medieval festival takes place near Moscow

Russia's medieval past is being re-enacted at a festival near Moscow this weekend. People have come from more than 20 cities and towns across the country to take part.

They act out battle scenes, make clothing, and even sell suits of armour. Modern clothes and money are banned at the event.

Enthusiasts say it's not only about battle scenes as the understanding of Medieval Russia is also an important part of the festival.
