Last militant with links to stadium bombing killed

In Russia's republic of Chechnya, an alleged militant warlord known as Khairullah has been killed. Khairullah was one of those who claimed responsibility for the bombing in 2004 that killed the Republic’s President, Akhmad Kadyrov.

The warlord's real name is Suleiman Imurzev

The current Chechen President, Ramzan Kadyrov, the son of late president, personally supervised operations against the killers.

All the other alleged militants who directly or indirectly claimed involvement in the bombing have been killed.

“Khairullah has killed very many of our people, including school directors and heads of villages. He was one of those who claimed responsibility for killing my father, the first Chechen President. As recently as two months ago he made a recording where he was saying that,” Ramzan Kadyrov stated.
