KHL finals: Lokomotiv destroy Kazan on the road

KHL season is nearing its end.The final series between Ak Bars and Lokomotiv has kicked off with a sensational Loko win in game one away in Kazan.

Czech Zbynek Irgl scored two powerplay goals for the visiting team, while Konstantin Rudenko added their third as Loko surprisingly took control of the game after a goalless first period.

Unfortunately for the home crowd, the Kazan side had nothing to respond with.

So they are now 1-0 down in the series.

The finalists will meet again Friday night, before moving to Yaroslavl for the next two matches.
