Kazakh supermodel plunges to her death in New York

Kazakh-born model Ruslana Korshunova has plunged to her death from an apartment building in Manhattan. The 20-year-old fell from her ninth-floor flat in an apparent suicide, according to the city police.

Korshunova was represented in New York by IMG Models. She had appeared on the covers of European editions of Elle and Vogue magazines.

Her tragic death took place just three days before her 21st birthday.
