Hundreds turn out to promote fitness in Moscow
Around 200 teenagers have gathered in the centre of Moscow for morning exercise. The idea came from the Mishki youth movement. The goal of the event is to promote a healthy lifestyle among the young and support the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
It was attended by members of the Russian parliament and former athletes including State Duma Deputy Speaker and Olympic champion skater, Svetlana Zhurova, and Olympic medallist gymnasts Alina Kabayeva and Svetlana Khorkina.
