Former Russian lawmaker detained in Moscow

A former member of Russia's upper house of parliament has been detained in Moscow. Levon Chakhmakhchyan, who represented the republic of Kalmykia, is being held at the General Prosecutor's Office.
No charges have been brought.He was previously detained last June for corruption and immediately released from his post in the Federation Council.But until now Mr Chakhmakhchyan was being treated at a Moscow hospital.
