Explosion in Baghdad claims 16
Sixteen people have been killed and at least 45 wounded in a bomb attack in Baghdad. A suicide bomber exploded a lorry in Iskan, a poor mixed neighbourhood with a large Shia population.

The attack occurred in a car park between the College of Economic Science and a large food warehouse. The College educates Iraqis of all backgrounds, with some Christians alongside Shia and Sunni students.

The explosion completely destroyed one house and heavily damaged others.

This comes after a series of major bombings at two Baghdad markets on Monday that killed more than 80 people.
