Cargo space vehicle docks with ISS

A cargo space ship launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan last Saturday has successfully docked with the ISS. Under an agreement between the U.S. and Russia, some supplies are for the American mission.

The carrier is loaded with fuel, scientific equipment, including snails for experiments, books and DVDs, as well as clothing and food.

In 2009, Russia will earmark a separate cargo vehicle exclusively for U.S. goods.
