Canada deports alleged Russian spy

Canadian authorities have deported a Russian man who is alleged of spying in the country. Montreal's Federal Court has ruled to expell the person who uses alias Paul Hampell.

Canadian media is reporting that Hampell admitted in court he had acquired fake Canadian passports and that he was Russian.

His real name has not been revealed and the Russian Intelligence Service has not confirmed the man has any connections to Russian foreign intelligence.
