Bus hijackers release hostages in Italy

All the passengers on board a bus hijacked in northern Italy have been released. A police officer is reported to have been injured in the incident. At least one of the men is said to have been captured by police.

Reports say three gunmen hijacked the bus, which was traveling to the town of Novara.

Some reports suggest the men set the bus on fire after releasing the hostages.
