British soldier turned Russian spy held in UK

A British newspaper has named a person arrested on suspicion of spying for the Russian Intelligence services as Peter Hill, a 23-year-old former British soldier.

The Sunday Telegraph reports he was arrested in Leeds last Wednesday.

The paper says he tried to pass classified documents to an undercover British intelligence officer posing as a Kremlin agent.

Hill has also been charged with possessing explosives reportedly found at his home by police.
