Big consignment of drugs confiscated in Ukraine

Security Service's in Ukraine have confiscated 114 kilograms of heroin from a Turkish national in the country's capital, Kiev. The drugs have a street value of almost 9 MLN euros.

The man was detained in the city centre as he was loading the drugs into his car. Police also discovered heroin in his rented apartment.

A preliminary investigation suggests that the drugs came from Turkey and were destined for Western Europe.
