100% ready, physically and digitally – Fighter Ivan Shtyrkov on Games of the Future

Ivan Shtyrkov, captain of the Gamers of Fighters phygital martial arts team, commented on the team’s aspirations for the Games of the Future at a recent media event.

“Naturally, we want to win. The training was the same as before a professional tournament. We did everything possible to approach the Games of the Future 100% ready, both physically and digitally. Considering the effort we have put in, I think we deserve the trophy. But we’ll see how things play out. The competition is structured in such a way that every point can be decisive,” Shtyrkov told RT.

Shtyrkov had earlier discussed with RT his preparations for the Games of the Future and how he balanced them with his training for a kickboxing bout with Vagab Vagabov.
