Fowl play: Taxi driver is no match for protective mother duck (VIDEO)
A Russian taxi driver was left in a flap when he got too close to a mother duck and her ducklings in Moscow on Friday. The man was no match for the mighty duck who scared the man into running away, like a chicken.
The video, filmed in the city center, shows a man approach a duck and ducklings hurrying across the road, the mother duck quacking at her brood.
The feathered family take off down the road at a fast pace as the man pursues them. Suddenly, the mother duck turns and attacks the man, flapping her wings and flying in the man’s face.
The duck pecks at the terrified taxi driver, who quickly runs away as onlookers laugh.
The duck’s brave attack happened on International Children’s Day, and highlighted mothers’ protective instinct when it comes to their children.
