Russian oil tax hits record high
The Russian government has increased oil export duty to a new record level of $US 338 per tonne from February 1.
The export duty was previously set at $US 275.4 per tonne.
The government adjusts the export duty on crude oil and products every two months based on the price of Urals blend on world markets in the preceding two months.
