Joint Venture to start producing new cargo aircraft near Moscow

Russia and the European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company are to start producing cargo aircraft at Lukhovitsky outside of Moscow, according to Russian Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov.
The deal came in the wake of Russia forming the $US 3.6 BLN Unified Aircraft Building Corporation, including the MiG Corporation and other manufacturers, in a drive to make the country's aviation industry internationally competitive.
