Financial watchdog plans attack on money laundering

Russian companies, suspected of money laundering, may face seizure of their assets. The Russian Federal Service for Financial Monitoring says dozens of transactions show signs of money laundering.
Now, the Russian Federal Service for Financial Monitoring plans to uncover the operations which its experts consider illegal before the questionable money goes abroad. This will be done with the help of the law enforcement agencies. The service says it will bear responsibility if its suspicions prove unfounded.
