MOSCOW, JANUARY 3, 2019– Longtime hosts of RT’s “The Keiser Report”, Max Keiser and Stacey Herbert, will be touring the United States to get a closer look at the current state of the American Dream, presidential politics, and the mainstream media in their new show “Gonzo America”, set to premiere on RT 6 January, 2019.

“Gonzo America” will see Max Keiser and Stacey Herbert traveling cross-country in an attempt to discover how the United States got to the contentious state it’s in today, from the arguable decline of the American Dream and the presidency of Donald Trump, to the breakdown of the mainstream media. To help them answer these questions, Keiser and Herbert will be speaking with artists, writers, historians, economists, cultural commentators and ordinary citizens throughout their journey.

In the words of Max Keiser: “America has always been home to such a diverse group of people; it’s always been the land of robber barons, outlaws, vagabonds, inventors, and dreamers. We want to meet them all and ask ‘What’s happened to us?”

Beginning on the West Coast – where Hollywood continues to ‘package’ the American Dream – Max Keiser and Stacey Herbert will then travel throughout the American Southwest, from Las Vegas to Texas, before finishing their tour in some of America’s earliest settlements, from New Orleans, to St. Augustine.

“Gonzo America” premieres Wednesday, 6 January on RT International.
