RT 75TH WWII ANNIVERSARY PROJECT SCOOPS EPICA AWARDS GOLD

MOSCOW, DECEMBER 10, 2021 — RT’s #VictoryPages, a large-scale historical social media project dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the end of the Great Patriotic War-World War II won gold at the international Epica Awards, which seek to reward outstanding creativity of communication agencies.

RT’s #VictoryPages scored gold in the Social Networks category. The project tells the story of WWII across five platforms: TwitterInstagramFacebookVK, and YouTube. The project has already won recognition at the Webby Awards, Epica Awards, Promax Awards, Cresta Awards, D&AD (Design and Art Direction Awards), ADC Awards, Shorty Awards, Lovie Awards, Red Dot Awards, Digiday Awards, New York Festivals and other international competitions.

In 2021, RT’s competitors at Epica Awards included such large global brands as Amazon, Heinz and Burger King, among others.

RT’s projects were previously distinguished with a total of seven Epica Awards for creativity. In 2020, RT’s Endless Letter Instagram project, Lessons of Auschwitz VR project and War: Kids’ Drawings in VR Animation project scored gold, silver and bronze respectively. In 2019, RT’s AR book for #Romanovs100 project won Epica’s silver. RT’s #1917LIVE project scooped bronze in three categories in 2017 and 2018.

Founded in 1987, Epica has become a prestigious awards competition in the field of advertising, design and marketing. The judges are selected from more than 200 international publications and online outlets, including Forbes, Business Insider, Adweek, PRWeek, AdIndex, The Drum, The Globe and Mail, and others.
