Russian strongman moves 312-ton port crane to mark 3rd Crimea reunion anniversary (VIDEO)

Russian powerlifting champion, Ivan Savkin, has pulled a 312-ton ton port crane for 1.5 meters on Sunday, dedicating the feat to the third anniversary of Crimea’s reunion with Russia.

Savkin set his impressive record at the shipyard in the seaside village of Livadia in Russia’s Far East.

According to the athlete, he succeeded in moving the crane 1.5 meters on his second try.

“I dedicate my achievement to the third anniversary of Crimea’s reunion with Russia,” Savkin said.

It's the latest of the many feats by the 32-year-old strongman, who had also previously moved a 288-ton locomotive, a multi-ton ferry, a passenger jet, an ‘Osa’ air defense missile system as well as T-34 and T-54B tanks.
