Business and networking social media site LinkedIn suffered outages in a number of countries and people were not happy.

The website, which has more than 400 million members, crashed on Monday due to what the company described as "intermittent issues."

The network didn't detail the exact nature of the problems it was having, with users citing issues in a number of countries, including France, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.

“We're having some intermittent issues right now,” the site tweeted. “Our team is aware of the issue and working to resolve it,” adding that it hopes to have it the problem resolved “as quickly as possible.”

Luckily, the site’s technical team didn’t seem to be overly panicked, instead seeing the lighter side of things.

That didn’t stop people from freaking out, however.
