US President Barack Obama has made another push to get his healthcare bill accepted. Author and activist David Swanson urges him to look north for an example.

During a speech in Pennsylvania, Obama tried to rally public support by criticizing insurance companies for the high premiums they charge.

Swanson says the US has to take Canada's example on centralizing healthcare.

"It would be ideal for Congress to create a civilized healthcare like many wealthy countries have, where everybody gets it and it’s single payer, and we reduce the costs," Swanson told RT.
